What is Camp?
Camp is sharing, caring, celebrating
Sharing…
Sharing in nature—leading hikes along nature trails, finding frogs with tadpole tails.
Sharing in crafts—winding yarn to make God’s eyes, cutting burlap for mom a surprise.
Sharing in swimming—floating and diving in an attempt to be cool, being dunked by campers all over the pool.
Caring…
Caring through Bible Study—reading God’s word, telling His love.
Caring through cabin time—being a friend, lending a hand.
Caring through devotions—reading a story, singing a song.
Celebrating…
Celebrating in worship—hearing missionaries tell of foreign lands, learning your part of God’s special plan.
Celebrating by singing—shouting (Waddley-Acha at the top of your lungs, chanting “God is so Good” when the day is done.)
Celebrating by camp fire—laughing at staffers clowning around, filling the air with joyful sounds.
Sharing and caring make camp fun for all,
But celebrating God’s love is most important of all.
