Fulbright to retire as WMU NC executive director By WMU NC Staff

(Raleigh, NC) – August 18, 2011 – Ruby Fulbright, executive director/treasurer of Woman’s Missionary Union of North Carolina (WMU NC) since May 1, 2002, will retire at the end of this year.

Fulbright, who led WMU NC to make a dramatic change in relationship with the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina and to re-establish itself as a completely autonomous body, announced her retirement to her executive board August 18 at a special called meeting.

CWJC Trip to South Africa

There is a team of people headed to South Africa today to work with Project Dorcas and CWJC Partner site in King Williams Town, South Africa. Pray for the team as they travel and for their experiences in South Africa.

Jan High Retires

Jan High, who was the Leadership Development/Training Specialist, retired after 28 years of service to WMU. This announcement came after Missions Extravanganza 2011. Her last day was April 30, 2011. We are so grateful for Jan and her wisdom and work through WMU. May God bless her on her journey in this new stage of her life.
