A recent study shows churches with WMU organizations give significantly more financially to missions per capita than churches without WMU organizations. Giving to the SBC Cooperative Program, North American Mission Board and International Mission Board were studied. WMU churches give almost double per capita to the CP, almost triple to NAMB and almost four times as much to the IMB. Since its founding in 1888, WMU has helped raise over $3 billion for international missions and over $1.1 billion for North American missions. Read more here.

The Mission Crafters of Aversboro Road Church in Garner is a new Women on Mission group. The leader of the group, Nancy, had a vision to use her crafting abilities to reach out to families at home and abroad with God's love. The Mission Crafters are knitting baby items and donating part to an international organization and part to a local organization to distribute to families in need. These women are compelled by love!
Nominate a group/individual who is "Compelled by Love" in your community to be spotlighted here. Read more stories of women who daily express God's love here.

| Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast. |
