Did you know that WMU is not and never has been supported by the SBC Cooperative Program? It’s true. WMU is a self-supporting, non-profit organization. So how does WMU support itself?

Much of national WMU’s budget needs are supplied through the sales of curriculum for WMU organizations, resources and books. (These may be ordered by calling 800.968.7301 or visiting www.wmustore.com, and WMU receives the greatest proceeds when the items are ordered directly from them.) But, there are many aspects of WMU’s ministries and operations that cannot be funded by sales alone – that is why it is so important to support WMU in other ways. On the next pages are several possible ways to support WMU beyond ordering materials from them.

National WMU Ministries

Many of national WMU’s ministries are similar or are the parent organization to NC WMU’s. They include Project Help, language ministries, Christian Women’s Job Corps and Christian Men’s Job Corps, retreats for missionary children returning to the US for college, Pure Water Pure Love and much, much more. Visit www.wmu.com for more information about these and other ministries.
