Soon the 2008-2009 panelists will "retire" and a new group of young women will begin a year of tremendous opportunity as NC Acteens panelists. If you know an outstanding Acteen, be sure she gets nominated! This opportunity is not one to pass up! Read about the process below.
Nomination: Acteens advisors or WMU directors submit a nomination form to the WMU NC office by April 15, 2009.
Service: Panel application must be completed by June 1, 2009. Panel will serve from July 2009 - August 2010.
Benefits: Meet other outstanding NC Acteens, plan NC Acteens & youth state events, attend panel retreat, participate in NC Acteens camp and be featured in Tarheel Talk
The NC Acteens Advisory Panel nomination process depends on Acteens advisors and WMU directors to nominate outstanding Acteens from their churches to serve on the state panel. Acteens Advisors nominate Acteens for the panel, and those nominated will then be mailed a North Carolina Acteens Advisory Panel Application. The nomination form must be completed and sent to the WMU NC office by April 15, 2009. Advisors, we are counting on you to help us select the 2008-2009 NC Acteens Advisory Panel!
