The North Carolina WMU Resource Team is comprised of women who have been involved with WMU for a number of years and have experience in their specialty areas. They have been selected and trained by the North Carolina WMU staff. Resource Team members are available to consult, lead conferences and speak in your church and/or association. North Carolina WMU will provide you, by request, with names and contact information of Resource Team members for events or training that your church or association may be planning. Churches and associations can make direct contact with a Resource Team member if they already know the person they want/need for their event. It is recommended that you contact and secure Resource Team members well in advance.
Responsibility of the church or association:
- Churches or associations are responsible to contact Resource Team members needed for events. They are not scheduled through the state WMU office. Initial contact may be made by phone or e-mail, but written communication should follow. Please provide the team member with details such as date and time of meeting, location (including directions) and specifics on what you need her to do.
- The church or association should pay travel expenses of the team member. Depending on the services rendered and the ability to pay, a modest honorarium would be appropriate.
Responsibility of North Carolina WMU:
- North Carolina WMU will provide names and contact information for a specific request as requested via the Online Request Form (preferred) or the downloadable form .
