The Story of WMUIf you have a few moments this summer to read when you prop your feet up at the beach or even on your front porch, consider having fun by reading some WMU history.
 
The Story of WMU by Rosalie Hunt is the newest WMU history. It is very readable and focuses on the extraordinary women who have led WMU through the years.
 
A Century to Celebrate by Catherine B. Allen is the definitive book on WMU history if doing research or trying to find when something began or why something is done a certain way. It was written and premiered at the centennial celebration of national WMU in 1888.
 
And So Much More by Dorothy Allred focuses on the history of North Carolina WMU. As with The Story of WMU , this book highlights WMU history as seen through the women who led the organization through the years.*
 
The Story of Lottie Moon and The Story of Annie Armstrong, both by Cathy Butler, are very readable stories of two of the earlist leaders in missions and WMU.
